  I had been to another Ear Nose and Throat specialist here in Asheville where I had a horrible experience. My ears have continued to bother me so I continued to search and finally went to see Dr. Pickens because of his good reviews. I can't say enough good things about him and his practice! It was easy to find, everyone there was very nice and I was immediately comfortable. Dr. Pickens asked me questions, explained things thoroughly, and was very genuine. I'm really happy with my experience and will not hesitate to go back if I have more trouble. Highly recommend him and his practice!

  Relief! I couldn't hear after returning from a Costa Rican kayaking vacation. I asked my friends in Asheville if they knew of an ear, nose and throat doctor with integrity and I was recommended to Dr. Pickens. Last night I sent a note through the website, within minutes I received an email from Dr. Pickens and this morning his staff set an appt for 10 am. Dr. Pickens relieved my month-long swimmers ear for me and I regret not having done this weeks ago. I feel so much better. I highly recommend Dr. Pickens.
